At this writing, (3:44PM) we in Smith County are getting some much needed rain at this moment. The rain is pounding on the metal roof so hard until it sounds like hail! I KNOW my yard looks so dry--that is all changing now. To the right is a radar imageryfrom the Brandon Radar site in Brandon. You see Taylorsville and Raleigh. I am located between where cell "Q5/YELLOW SQUARE" and cell "D6" is. That yellow square indicates hail. Now I haven't seen or heard it but radar has picked it up. This is the last of the rain I believe but I haven't panned over to Louisiana, yet. Now it has all let up sounded like but on the way home from school, my headlights turned on. And the flip of the wipers every now and then.
